Calculator inputs
Calculation arithmetic runs in your browser. The calculator does not submit financial inputs to the analytics endpoint. Reset restores the page’s illustrative defaults. No account is required to use the worksheets.
Sharing and browser history
The Share control places entered values in the URL fragment, after the # character. Anyone who receives that complete link can recover the shared values. The fragment can remain in browser history, copied links or messages. URL fragments are not sent as part of the ordinary HTTP page request. Avoid sharing a scenario containing information you do not want recipients to see.
First-party usage analytics
The site sends usage events to its own endpoint to measure page visits, calculator interaction, sharing and printing. Stored event fields include the page path, event and label, an event view identifier, date and time, referring host, country, device class, page template and acquisition category. The calculator’s monetary inputs are not included in those events. The worker strips query strings and fragments from stored page paths and rejects automated traffic using its ingest checks.
Hosting and advertising
The hosting provider processes HTTP requests to deliver pages. Advertising scripts are disabled in the default build and appear only when the configured advertising settings enable them. A future advertising deployment requires its own applicable consent handling and an updated description of partners. This page describes the current calculator and first-party event implementation.
Read methodology to understand what a result means before sending a shared scenario. The tool is a worksheet estimate, not a complete return or a storage service for tax records.
Correction reports
The corrections form sends the pathname, issue category, message and optional reply address you choose to submit. The report database also records its receipt time and site. No calculator values are automatically attached, and this corrections table does not store IP addresses or user-agent strings. A reply address is not required or subscribed to marketing by the form. Avoid account identifiers, real return records or private financial documents in the message; an anonymous reproducible example is more useful for checking a defect.
Limits of the browser-only calculation promise
Hosting infrastructure still processes normal requests to serve the page and may have operational logs. Browser history, copied fragments, screenshots and extensions can retain a scenario outside our application. We do not provide a private storage vault or a deletion control for copies held by recipients. A successful correction receipt confirms storage of the submitted report rather than approval of its legal interpretation. Contact the publisher through that channel for a specific report concern, without attaching sensitive tax records.
